Sunday was Mother's Day in France.
I remember reading this joke in Reader's Digest once...
Dad: Hooray, we're going on a holiday!
2 yr old: What's a holiday Daddy?
Dad: Its going to a place where the beds are made, the rooms are cleaned, the food is cooked, the laundry is done by other people.
2 yr old: Then why is Mom coming along?
Urvi's gift from her French class was a handpainted wooden napkin holder, with a mosaic heart on it.
This was Urvi's gift from her English class. Its a pot of tea and a tea-bag, with a poem:

When I asked her why she hadn't colored it, she replied that it was an 'activity sheet', and that I would have to color it myself. Guess she feels I don't have enough to do around here...

Here's a gift for Mother's Day
I'll try my best in every way
But if you get upset with me
Relax and have a pot of tea!
Later during the day she gave me this 'gift':
When I asked her why she hadn't colored it, she replied that it was an 'activity sheet', and that I would have to color it myself. Guess she feels I don't have enough to do around here...
